Shattered Soul is an action/romance story that introduces us to Annabelle and Travis. They couldn't be more different when they first met, but the longer they were together they realized that they wanted the same end result. Here's the summary:
"Navy Lieutenant Travis Donovan was a man on a mission. After surviving a house bombing that took the lives of both of his siblings, he is seeking answers...and is demanding justice. Both of which he wasn't able to find within the Navy.
Former Army Major Annabelle West owns a security firm and may be the only one with the ability to get the answers he seeks. But when the pair gets put in the cross-hairs, can Travis get the answers he seeks? Even if the cost is his and Annabelle's lives?"
The second WIP, Eye of the Beholder is an adventure/romance that is told by Selena Torrance, the main character. I like to call her a 'cat thief with a heart of gold.' She meets art playboy Max Harrison and they quickly butt heads. They also realize that they have one thing in common...Max's younger sister Lily.
Here's the summary:
"Selena Torrance is a thief with morals. She acquires artifacts for the thrill and history, never for the money. When she acquires one half of the Eye of Osiris from Egypt, she's drawn to it's power and mystery.
But after crossing paths with art dealer and resident playboy Max Harrison, who coincidentally has the other half, she wants to get rid of it...and him."
Naturally this is still a work in progress. Looks like 2013 is going to be busy!
Sounds like you're going to be a busy one Samantha. I stopped by looking for your flash piece but it's good to see others are interested in the NBP Bayou Heat line :)
